Saving Scout!

In Jessica's own words we hear how Scout was found and saved.   "I enjoyed reading the success stories posted on the site. I found my dog by using your site. I had been wanting a dog for a while, but did not want to buy a puppy. I checked the site, and found six smaller-sized dogs that I was interested in. I stopped by to meet them. I called the PACC on their disposition date only to find that only one of them had not been euthanized. I went in to personally meet P145664. She was really nervous having been moved to an adoption kennel and having all the other dogs bark at her because she was outside the cages. I talked and petted her for about 30 minutes. Slowly, her tail became untucked between her legs and curled over her back. I still was not sure that she wanted me. I was about to have the volunteer put her back. When P145664 stood up on her hind legs and kneaded my legs with her front paws, I knew I had to have her."

"Scout, as I named her, is a very smart, loving, and loyal dog. I am so happy that I have her, and that I could save a life.
She enjoys belly rubs, naps, TV, treats, squeak toys, and trips to the dog park, ironically, next to the pound."

"Here I am on the bed, beats concrete!"

"This is one of my favorite new friends."
